Custom Measuring Wine Glasses for Events

Woman divvying up wine at event.

Mr. Picky custom measuring wine glasses are great for dinner parties, weddings, company events, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and more.

Wedding Jitters

Planning a wedding is stressful enough without having to try to guess how much wine you will need. Running out of wine on the best day of your life would be a nightmare. We can add a logo such as the couple’s names or a symbol in a specific location on the glass. The wait staff can then pour to that mark. Wine is expensive so you will want to plan carefully.

How Much Wine Do You Need?

Ordering custom wine glasses for an event can help you purchase the correct number of bottles of wine. For example, if a bottle of wine has 24 ounces and you pour to the 4-ounce mark you can pour six glasses of wine per bottle. The rule of thumb for most events is 12 ounces of wine per person. Side note, Mr. Picky’s wedding required a one bottle per person count, but that is not the norm. Convincing the caterers was tricky as they insisted that people always overestimate. Turns out it was the perfect amount, we know our peeps. If this higher count applies to you, keep the guest list small or order less expensive wine.

Custom wine glasses for events can be ordered in bulk which reduces the price per glass. The minimum order is 72 glasses. Contact us for more info and a custom quote.

Take-Home Souvenirs for Guests

After your special event, you can send the custom wine glasses home with your guests. It will serve as a nice souvenir. Stock up on gift bags and tissue paper from Michael’s and place them on a table by the door, so that people can pack their glasses on the way out.

If you decide to keep the glasses after the event you can store them in the boxes they came in and keep them in storage. You will reuse them time and time again over the years. As we all know, glasses break, and life happens. Having these backup glasses takes the stress out of washing dishes and accidental breaks.

How Was Your Event?

We’d love to hear from you. How are you using your glasses? Upload photos of your event to our Instagram account. Cheers!

Woman enjoying a glass of red wine

You may be looking to improve your health and have heard that wine, in moderation, can be part of a healthy diet. But just how would you go about moderating wine consumption and why would you want to? Mr. Picky’s Measuring Wine Glasses were designed with your health in mind. With a variety of shapes, sizes and measuring marks our measuring glasses make sensible wine drinking fun and easy. The 4, 6, and 8-ounce marks are subtle, no one has to know you are measuring.

Measuring Wine and Weight Loss

So you’d like to drop a few pounds and you know darn well how many calories wine contains. You also know that after a couple of glasses of wine diet rules seem to fly out the window. It’s a slippery slope. We’ve got you covered, set your goal, and let the Mr. Picky Measuring wine glasses do all the work. Whether you are counting calories, points, or ounces we make it easy. The cleverly placed dots, emojis, cats and bubbles mark 4, 6, and 8 ounces. Need inspiration? Weight Watchers has some great tips for weaving wine into your successful diet.

Measuring Wine and Health

You may have asked your doctor if you can drink wine. The standard vague response is that one glass for women and two for men is acceptable. Lettie Teague, Food & Wine writer, describes her frustration with this response in her article Everything in Moderation. How much wine is in “a glass”? It depends on the glass, right? Mr. Picky takes the guesswork out of wine measuring. Let’s say you decide to drink 5 ounces per day. You simply pour between the 4 and 6-ounce marks and you’re good to go.

Measuring Beautifully

Mr. Picky Measuring Wine Glasses come in many shapes, sizes and types:

  • All-Purpose: These glasses are a little thicker, can go in the dishwasher, and rarely break.
  • Premium: Made in a factory in Germany, these glasses are the same quality as Reidel at half the cost. Hand washing is recommended. They are elegant and beautiful.
  • Swag: Already a fan? Purchase Coffee Mugs and T-shirts here

Whether you want to lose weight or simply improve your health Mr. Picky is here for you, toasting you. Cheers!
