Mr. Picky and film crew dropped in on Dragonette Cellars and Ampelos Cellars yesterday with empty wine glasses and high hopes. Recommend by Amanda Gill of the Santa Ynez Marriott, the tasting room is a little off the beaten path but turned out to be a hidden treasure. The tasting room was abuzz with lively patrons and wine makers proudly pouring the fruit of their labor. The “one hour tour” quickly turned into two as the stories and information flowed as freely as the wine. Stay tuned for the much anticipated video of the tour produced by one of Hollywood’s best.
